Fellow Toastmasters, Volunteers for the 2011 Fall Conference are needed!
The Conference experience is an opportunity to learn, to network, to become recharged and much more.
Part of making the most of the Conference experience is by being a volunteer. Volunteers not only make an event run smoothly but they can guarantee the success of the conference. When you are a volunteer, and give a little of your time, then the success of the conference is due partly to you.
There are opportunities for you to expand your horizons and your stage time:
- Registration Table (meet and greet members)
- Introduce a Workshop Presenter, Time the Presenter, Collect Evaluation Forms
- Provide the Invocation for Lunch or Dinner
- Lead the Pledge of Allegiance
- And more …
For those volunteers who would prefer to be behind the scenes:
- Line-up Participants for Parade of Banners
- Organize Gift Baskets
- Organize 50/50 Raffle
- Assist Sergeant at Arms with setting up rooms, signs, educational material, banner hooks, etc.
- Judge a Contest
- Contest Timer or Counter
- And more …
Get involved, volunteer today by e-mailing the Conference Chair at jinghumphreys@zoominternet.net. Please be sure to let Jing know your area(s) of interest.
